On this weekend and last

YJ convention was great, though not getting elected to regional maz while all of my other friends did was something that hurt. The Israel rally was fun and my voice was terrible by the end of that, haha. Yeah I was sick again. =3=  And like always, the airport was fun too.

Best story ever from the magnetic words in the chemistry room:

man seeds woman
on sultry night

oh

children
from egg

get big lump

it
wiggles
out

it's a girl

At some point along the week, we watched Howl's Moving Castle; Mai's choice. She thinks Howl is cool.

On Wednesday after school, Mai and I went downtown with Kat, Jayde, and Amanda. We went to the antique store, Paper Jazz, Powell's, Goody's, the park, and Wabi Sabi.

John, Kiegan, Keely, Megan, Jojo, Quin, Dana, and I are going to do the Algorithm March for the talent show. :) We auditioned on Thursday, though not with everyone. Mai recorded our audition.

On Friday night there was a party at Morgan's in which a lot of Rice Krispies were eaten, The Proposal was watched, Stephen was afraid of a spider, Quin smelled delicious, and I was running on 0 hours of sleep. Before that, Kyle came over and hung out at my place with Mai and me. It was a fun day. Let's just forget about the 3 tests I had. ha

Saturday we went up to Portland. It was a nice day out, and both Multnomah Falls and Saturday Market were packed. Mai had a good time at both places. :D She bought an extendable fork from Spoonman, and we got her the kitty egg crayons she loved. At Party City I got Harry Potter glasses and Willy Wonka goggles. Finally. On the way back, Mai and I watched 7 episodes of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Yesterday Kyle joined up with us for the day we hiked up Pilot Butte. Fixed the sign cover with tape. Then we went bowling with Jayde, Kat, and Saki. Mai was overwhelmed with the gifts for her family that we presented that evening.

Mai left today, and it feels weird to have her gone. :(
