Year Course - Day 4

Fun sexual assault prevention talk. I maybe had sex with an Australian guy at the beach and thought I could have been pregnant. If I ever find myself in that situation, I'm going to talk to Jimmy.

Bus to Jerusalem! We hiked down Sataf and I got really sweaty. I didn't go in the little water tunnel. Was going to change my shoes so I could, but that was too much work and I was feeling gross anyway.

Heather was talking non-stop after midday until nighttime.

Beit Ar-El opening tekes was GREAT. So good to see everyone. I was in such a good mood this day. I hung around with Rachel Gluckman and got the numbers of some other friends. Also, the guys who played the music were very fun. And I said hi to the Year Course directors for Grandma.

The Old City is beautiful at night. I cried at the kotel this time (I never have before). Why? Because it's Year Course, and the last time I was there was with Nitzachon, and I thought about my family and friends, and I thought about what a great place this is, and I'm lonely sometimes, and visiting the wall is still a spiritual experience, and I just needed to let some emotion out.

I should have slept on the bus ride back, but Seth and Heather and Rachel were talking about movies. I couldn't resist.

Clubbing. Getting to the club and getting back was the most annoying experience of the day, but I had a grand time there. Way there: Five of us couldn't take a cab, couldn't leave just one behind! Sent Rachel and Abbey and Heather, Liora and I waited. Wait, now wat do? Don't want to split a cab with just two people. Shit's 'spensive. Saw some busses, so figured we'd take one. But we didn't know which one, or know the streets of Tel Aviv. So we at least had to go back to get a map and maybe ask Nadine. We ended up joining a huge group of people and got on a bus after waiting a long time. The bus ride was AWESOME, because everyone was celebrating for Merav, and our bus driver was the best. Got there eventually. Way back: I knew that Heather and Liora had left, but I couldn't find any of my housemates when it was time to go. Abbey didn't answer her phone. I was alone. People were just going to take taxis back, but nobody going to our street had space for me in a cab. It turned out we went to see if we could catch another bus, though we didn't know if one would be there or not. Ended up spontaneously catching one of the cabs back with Seth and Doran who were going to Anna Frank and convinced them to drop me off at my place.
