[He shakes his head and pulls his hands out of his pockets, looking around the apartment to see if everything's the same as when they left.]

So what now? Crowley's not here, at least as far as we know, but that doesn't mean Cas isn't--.

[He stops himself short, because he knows this is touchy and nothing's been confirmed yet. Even if Sam's pretty damn confident. He inhales deeply and looks back over to his brother.]

[He's pretty firm on this. He's determined that Cas is going to get to defend himself at least.]

Alright, so we find Cas. And then what? I get that you're loyal, to a fault at times, and I am too. I want<\I> to believe in him. But you gotta know that something's up, and we can't ignore that fact just 'cause we're in the City.

[He shoves his hands back into his pockets with a small frown, lowering his eyes.]

[Dean hesitates, pursing his lips. He scrubs his hands over his face and his head before he grumbles, finally answering]

[Dean really doesn't want to hear this. He wants to remain hopeful. He wants to keep believing in Cas. There aren't that many people left in his life he can believe in. Bobby...Sam and there's Cas.]

[Sam gets that, even with Dean saying anything. Which is why is kills him to think otherwise. To almost know otherwise. So he'll just keep quietly nodding his head.]

Where do we start looking? There's like an inch of dust on this place, so I don't think he's been here.

Cas! If you're here, we're having a little pow wow down here.

[ It's kind of like a tingle, when they do that. Especially when it's Dean. He can't see them until they draw attention to themselves, and then it's as if someone's turned a light on.

Even so, it's a few minutes before he decides to pop in. He's not sure what's going to transpire, and he's not sure what he's going to say. Everything that had happened at home, and everything they'd been through here. How could he deny the truth?

The tell tale flutter of wings precedes his appearance somewhere behind them, and as nervous as he is, he's happy to see the Winchesters back in action. ]

[If he's really honest, Sam didn't actually expect Cas to show. He wanted him to, was hoping he would, but part of him expected the angel to refuse their call like a bad telephone stalker. Shaken faith, because he doesn't really know what to expect at this point.

So when Cas does show? Sam's heart jumps in his chest a little, like a punch to the gut for doubting him. A feeling that doesn't go away once he turns to face him, because the doubt lingers on in spite of him. Shaken faith.]

[Dean lets out a sigh of absolute relief. His faith in Cas is bolstered a little.]

'Bout time you showed up. [It's as close to thankful as he'll sound]

Were you expecting me?

[ Mmkay. Not getting grilled yet. That must be a good sign! Everything's fine, right? Anybody wanna come to denial land with him? Bueller? ]

[That's the Winchester's favorite haunt! Part of why Sam's just gonna stay quiet for now, let Dean handle the diplomacies for now.]

[Dean just sort of dives in 'cause Cas didn't do this right? He showed up and he wouldn't do what Bobby and Sam think he did...right?]
