First of all it wasn't orginal, they changed the oompa loompa song, it wasn't funny, and it was of course done by tim burton obivously given the weirdness to the movie as well, as the dark humor, even the great johnny depp (who was awesome in pirates of the caribbean) could not make the poor script into at least a decent movie, I saw the movie with 4 other people and all of them hated this movie, My advice is don't waste your money, wait till it comes out on TV or rent the original, its much better. This movie was just a poor attempt at a remake that never should have been alowed to be made, it is that horibble. This film crew was so cheap that they digitalized one oompa loompa into a lot of oompa loompa's which makes all the oompa loopa's look exactly alike, where is the orginality? At least the oompa loompa's could always get one of there 50 million twins to go to there math class in there place. BOTTOM LINE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! I am half tempted to go up to tim burton myself and ask for my money back, thats how awful this film was.
