But do you imagine Sisyphus as happy?

No, I don't.
You mean the colors, yeah?

I really like things that can be, at first glance, almost happy. but when you actually look at them or think about it, really depressing.

You know, like life?

well, he should be. giving meaning to his life by his task. he is, as they say, the absurd hero.

wait, I'm too cavalier with my words. his dedication to live without purpose.. maybe that's what I'm going for.

well for him, it's not dedication, it's punishment. The gods were punishing him for playing a trick, i think.
but in my own reality, I think of Sisyphus as a metaphor for a dedication that just hasn't gotten you anywhere (yet, hopefully?).
Sisyphus does have the hope that one day the gods will forgive him, and he won't have to push that rock up the hill anymore...

Live without purspose? I don't know about that, at least there is a purpose, weither or not that he ever achieves his purpose is the question.
Even if it an absurb purpose.

sorry I thought you were going at the camus angle, but if you're going from the original greek myth, yeah, punishment. haha
