We had a scare today
My dad got sent home from work this morning because his BP was 140-ish/100-ish. He got an appointment with the doctor and she gave him some medicine that seems to have brought it down some. He has to go back on Wednesday to get the results of his bloodwork they did today, I think. Then he has to go back on the 31st for an echocardiogram, chest x-ray, and stress test. I'm so glad they didn't put him in the hospital.
As for anything else that's been happening lately. . .there hasn't been anything. I'm reading the book The Phantom of the Opera. It's nothing like the movie, or maybe I should say the movie is nothing like the book. So far, the book is actually pretty good. It's amazingly not that hard to read. Although, after reading Frankenstein and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in a span of I don't know how many weeks, nothing seems hard to read anymore. Speaking of the Phantom, I watched it this afternoon. It never ceases to amaze me how well those people can sing. When my soundtrack gets here that's all I'm gonna listen to for a couple weeks. Prolly drive my brother nuts, but that's why my headset is so awesome and why I have a portable CD player and a stereo. Also have the glorious fact that I talked my friend into finally watching the movie. *grins at him* THE PHANTOM ROCKS!!!!
