Things Do Change.....This Is True
SAT today was pretty stinkin crazy... seriously. The new essay part wasn't hard at all, really... but I didn't enjoy the other parts. Now I'll be doing ACT next weekend. But I'll try to keep my excitement to myself and at a minimum.
So I've been doing a lot of thinking. Things are definitely changing. I can feel stuff happening around me, but I can feel changes happening within me too... so it's been interesting.
The Hoot/Gathering last night for Chrysalis/Emmaus was AWESOME!! It was so great to see the guys from the flight, talk to some older folks in the community, and just have great fellowship. The community feels like it's getting a lot stronger there, and I totally dig it. 8-)
The songs were GREAT, and we sang "Light the Fire" there!! I WAS STOKED!! That's an old song from camp that I LOVE. When I saw the words come up I jumped up and down, for real! It was crazy... people stared, but it was definitely worth it. (By the way, not Light the Fire Again, but Light the Fire -- the one w/echoes).
After that was all said and done, after the nuzzles, and after being violated by both Lucases and Big Jon, it was off to Schnake's. Michael, Big Jon, Lucas, and I all went over there to hang out. His kids are HILARIOUS (Tweezy, Good night crackers!!), and I just had a blast. Then we just hung out and did some stuff, but it was great.
Then Dave and I just started talking on the porch as I was going to leave, and I ended up leaving about an hour and a half after I was supposed to be home!! But God definitely honored our conversation and helped me get up and be motivated this morning, so it's all good.
So anyways, I have to clean my room and get stuff done. The girl that I grew up with all my life is in town from TN, so we're hanging out sometime later. But first, my room. Then later tonight is Commonway!! Later, ya'll. Have a good one.
