I'm trying to write a novel for the National Novel Writing Month and I'm quickly realizing that I probably shouldn't be writing fiction. I can essay write fine and my mind can show me in movie form little fictionalized scenes without dialogue, but as for complete fictionalized storytelling, I'm at a loss. I figure I'll just take Tristram Shandy to its extreme conclusion and continually rewrite the first paragraph and call it proto-post-post-modern.
