So, this summer, Miss Karina S. Diaz, one of the loveliest of my relatives, came to visit me. She had originally planned to stay a couple of weeks, but we were lucky to have her around for a month. We hung out a lot, ate a lot, and had a good time throughout. It goes without saying, then, that we took a lot of pictures.
We went to the beach twice.
I have no idea what's going on here.
I really like this. It'll stay on my desktop while the days are nice and long.
We had some carne asada at my uncle's house. He likes to grill sitting down.
My mom is annoyed that I've got a camera in my hand.
It was my cousin's birthday. Little Samantha's going to come out any day now.
The dude in the backwards hat is my cousin Raul. He went to Berkeley and enjoys bringing his moochy, yet entertaining, girlfriend to family functions.

We went to a club.
I don't really like that kinda thing, but it was an excuse to get out.
We don't know whose drink this is.
Then there was King Taco with the boys.
Aw.
I wasn't too happy with this bit of randomness, but what can you do?
It was fun, but there are things to look forward to in the fall.
Rilo Kiley's new album comes out on Rose's Birthday and they've got a show in Santa Monica in October.
That reminds me, I forgot to show up for jury duty in July so now I'm scheduled for a sort of "do over" at the end of the month.
There is Stars in November, practice (I'm volunteering with a little league cheer squad, you guys), and completing my application to CalState. Woo.
For now, I'm just trying to enjoy the rest of the summer before it's over.
