what's the fuss, you gotta be in it to win it..

I'm currently listening to The Ordinary Boys' album. It's pretty darn good. It's got an 80's new wave feel to it and it's a lot of fun. "Lonely at the Top" is playing over and over in my head.

I saw Bridge to Terabithia last night with my family. Somehow I think it's probably a lot better as a book.. it just doesn't translate well enough to be a film. It's all about the element of imagination, and it's better to envision what they think about in your own mind as opposed to actually seeing these kids run around the woods throwing rocks and talking crazy. The trailers and tv spots are so misleading if you haven't read the book. The child actors were really good, however. Great performances, and sadly to say they had better chemistry than Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore did in Music and Lyrics. It was a nice film, I'd still say it's better of being a rental.

timeeveryjourney: i need an hour to chill though, so is it cool that i show up at 10
TheShArKzZz: you are talking to the king of chilling for an hour
timeeveryjourney: rly? you go and sit in a giant refrigerator too? i thought i was the only one!
TheShArKzZz: actually yes. im very acrobatic
TheShArKzZz: how long do u sit?
timeeveryjourney: i go in there and i play chess with Donald Sutherland
TheShArKzZz: wow
me: so i wait until im done with one game. sometimes it takes forever
Sean: thats pretty freakin intense!
me: and then Kiefer comes in and he's like "dad, you're gonna turn into a popsicle"
Sean: poor kiefer
me: and im like 'shut UP jack bauer i'm trying to fucking checkmate HERE.'
Sean: OUCH
Sean: and hes like "NO, POP!" and dives in front of the king piece

Slowly but surely I'm going crazy.

Time to go to work. Boo.
