I know the game was yesterday, but this has been boggling my mind...
Why, with two runners on and only one out, would you walk the guy in front of Albert Pujols without throwing anything close to a strike after a 2-1 count, THEN throw a fastball right through the middle to Pujols on the FIRST PITCH? He hit that ball like Bobby Brown hit Whitney Houston. He's Albert fucking Pujols! He's going to hit that pitch out EVERY TIME! You don't make it easy by giving him a gopher ball! The guy can probably hit a slider in the dirt out of the park, so everything else in comparison is piss easy.
UGH! I really hate the Cubs bullpen right now. They all have some crazy high ERAs and they walk guys like it's for breast cancer research.
