A Story From this Past Saturday

So me and a bunch of people went to Nickel City, which is a 45-minute drive from Cicero. Ended up being a very eventful day...

- Waited an hour or so before leaving because one of our drivers, Alex, was late.

- I was riding in Alex's car and it was making a loud rattling noise. As we rounded the final turn toward the arcade, his car stopped dead. He managed to restart it and get it into the parking lot, but we had to push hi car into a space.

- Rollie, who was another driver, got lost and arrived at the arcade 2 or so hours late.

- I played a lot of DDR, most I've played in months. Did decently but now I'm in PAIN. My back hurts. My legs hurt. My feet hurt. My sides hurt. My arms hurt from using the bar. I have so little stamina now. I FC'd the first half of MAX 300 but couldn't keep up. MY PA is still ok but nowhere near where it used to be. I was getting 20 greats in shit I AAA'd before.

- I drank 4 Gatorades. :/

- Random dude at the Nickle City plays a lot of ITG. He has shit accuracy but he has a lot of stamina.

- I suck at fighting games! I need to practice a lot more at home. Haven't touched 3S or CvS2 in forever. I need to get on that. Maybe I should start playing some ST, too.

- Random hilarity ensued at the end of the day as we left the arcade, including some wrestling in the parking lot.

Now here's the fun part

- As we headed toward IHOP to eat, Alex's car died. Everyone came back and helped push the car to a nearby BP station. Car was fucked up and it wasn't going anywhere. We had 12 people and two small cars so we had a bit of a dilemma. So we waited until we figured out to do, and it was cold outside.

- We got hungry and cold so we walked to the nearby Dominick's and wandered around in search of food and generally making a nuisance of ourselves. I bought some Unagi rolls that were ok for the price. We also got a loaf of bread, ham and cheese and made sandwiches back at the BP station.

- One of our group called her dad to pick her up (we were still 45 minutes away from home) so we figured that would solve our problem. Unfortunately, he got lost and never made it. We waited a couple hours for him but then we decided to just leave. During that time, hilarity ensued as people took turns hiding from the cold inside one of the two working cars, including random window fogging and car rocking.

- We had to go 6 per car, with one person lying on the laps of three others. Luis regaled us with the history of Scientology on the way home. Good times.

And that's all...
