I'm lazy...I don't feel like doin' shit until the baseball game comes on. TV sucks save for two things...House and sports. That's literally all I care to watch anymore.

Been listening to my rock collection a lot lately, mostly while doin' homework. I kinda miss the old days in high school when all I'd do after school is sit in my room switching CDs around. I'm missing a lot of my albums because my CD-ROM drive petered out and I don't feel like going through the trouble to download it all.

Things I've noticed...

- A great majority of what I listen to is Seattle grunge.
- A lot of old Soundgarden is hit-or-miss. Their best stuff is on their last three albums.
- Over half my collection is Pearl Jam, like that's shocking to most people who know me...
- Smells Like Teen Spirit has a fucking skip in it. :/
- I have a lot more Alice in Chains that previously thought and I haven't heard half of it. :/
- Nirvana is crazy overrated but they're still good fun to listen to.
- The Foo Fighters' fourth album sounds funny, like someone screwed up the mixing and made some things WAY louder than others...
- By contrast, the Foo Fighters' first album sounds like everything is being played at the same time on one instrument. I can barely make out some stuff in the fuzz. It sounds almagamated together and sounds kinda crappy. I still love it, though...
- I'm still wondering how Heart-Shaped Box made it onto Guitar Hero. Song is crazy slow and boring on the guitar.
- Eddie Vedder's vocals are WAY TOO LOUD on Ten. I mean I can't enjoy the hooks in Deep because Eddie is drowning it all out! This is the main reason I don't like Ten as much as all of the other stuff.
- Mudhoney is not a very good band but shit I love listening to them. Listening to their old punk covers makes me laugh.
- MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY LOOK AT YOUR SON YOU MIGHT'VE LOVED ME BUT NOW I GOT A GUN!!!!!!!
- What the fuck is Liquid Tension Experiment doing in my collection? Oh well, it's good shit so I'm not complaining. They just seem kinda like the odd men out and it feels like they fit more into my Mahavishnu Orchestra folder.
- Apparently I'm an oddball because most Pearl Jam fans don't usually like the Dave Matthews Band, which makes no sense to me. Maybe I'm missing something.
- Temple of the Dog is still one of my favorite one-off side projects ever. Go listen to Wooden Jesus and you'll understand.
- A few songs on Mad Season's only album are pretty cool. The rest are pretty forgettable.
- I now understand why Sonic Youth never really made it into the mainstream. Most people don't appreciate the beauty of random noise and feedback. Still, Daydream Nation is a great album for just chilling out. It's a good balance of noise and melody.
- Chris Cornell's first solo album is weird...
- I am missing way too many of my albums on this computer...I also need some more hard drive space.

I'm bored as hell and watching Remember the Titans for the 534959585625278493th time. Meh...
