what i decided to do
Just to let everyone know....I called the lady at the library and exlained the situation to her. She was very nice and told me she would get back to me by Thursday. Well she called me yesterday and told me I got the job! So yay me! I am working at the UIC medical library. (I know, i would be the only one that was excited about that.) but yes i am very happy, thanks to all you that gave me advice.
Tonight is the 2nd night of APO rush. We are going to the mall to do an "active" hunt. (basically I get to dress up and potential pledges get to walk around and try to find us.) the cool thing for me is that I have to violate a gender norm in public for my women's studies class, so this is a great opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. I have an extreemly ugly blue and white shirt I am going to wear as well as a blue and marroon pokadoted tie. (its hidious together). I'll tell you later how it goes, I'm really excited to see the townies responses. Ok I am off to read and such!
