The forecast for ducky: Brief periods of sunshine, mixed with dark clouds and rain

So, shall we discuss the latest medical findings in the world of ducky? Why, yes, I suppose we shall. I had my physical yesterday. Because of the insanity that is my glucose levels, I am now part of the joyful camp that takes fast-acting insulin with every meal in order to keep the levels stable, along with my nightly needleful of slow-acting ( Read more... )

No more stubbed toes on that side, yay!

Could you check the Illness Fairy's pockets this time? Maybe he's got some good health in there for me, we're just looking in the wrong place! Oh, I will undoubtedly stub my toes on that side, but I won't be saying "Ouch" about it! Plus, it won't be so annoying now when the cat tries to play with my foot. Hey, looks like your Ring is being really well received! Yay, you! And, I'm in some agreement with you on SPN and the whole Buffyverse thing. Was that or was that not Mercedes MacNab as a vampire? Come on, she played a vamp for how many seasons of Buffy and Angel? At least let her be something NOT a vampire, like a spacey housewife or something!

Yes, that was Mercedes McNab. They already did a joke with a cast member of "Buffy" being a vampire (Amber Benson), so to have Harmony on there as a vampire just came off as lame. How many former Buffy/Angel cast members are they going to get to milk that cash cow, anyway? I've grown very weary of it.

Never liked Harmony. Irritating chick.

Nodding in agreement - she was annoying. I admit, I haven't kept up on SPN as much as I could have, but it seems to me that they have really been losing their edge this season. I liked the show first season, because the demons and various sundry hauntings and bad guys were interestingly played, even when they were obviously borrowing from old urban legend territory. This season, I'm sort of "Meh."

Yes, this has definitely been the "meh" season so far. Things are too repetitive and unchanging. I feel like all the characters are stagnating. I wish something new would happen, something totally unpredictable.

Oh, I forgot to give you a hug for all your troubles. *Squeeeeeeeeeeze!* 'Cause you deserve it.

That's okay, I like the hugs, but I figured you were busy doing carnage and mayhem on the Illness Fairy for me, so I would wait until you whupped his butt good before getting the hugs! Hmmm...something totally unpredictable, huh? I'm thinking, we could bring in a duck. But not just an ordinary duck! This duck would be fun and friendly, and capable of making with the snark, and she would be good at baking cookies as well as beating up demons. She would also have keen fashion sense, and she would be able to keep Sam and Dean from arguing all the time over who's the demon. "Now, boys, stop that fighting, or I'll knock your heads together!" They'd never see it coming. Nope.

Would they hear it as "quack quack quack," or as human speech? Because a talking duck, that's demon stuff! You better find a way to let them know that you're a totally normal talking duck, or they may shoot you with the Colt!
