This is the kind of situation that cracks me up, with John McCain's straight-talk express getting a tad derailed. There are these horribly hilarious times when he gets asked something and either A) flips out, or B) tells reporters that he'll have his staffers get back to them on questions that he should clearly know.
Case B comes up this time, when McCain claims that he doesn't know how many houses he owns. He offers to have his staffers get back to the reporter.

Yeah, a little bit, especially after months of hearing b.s. about how Obama is some sort of "arrogant elite" who is out of touch with regular people. But mostly it's just kind of funny to see McCain flounder on a question that should be his biggest softball since Pastor Warren asked him when life began in front of an evangelical audience.
