my mom is going to visit with some friends in NewYork on the weekend of your Anniversary. it's some kind of seminar with a scottish theme... they are going to have haggis.. haggis is like the lamb equivalant to our hotdog. It's all kinds of gross parts of the lambie.. mixed into a paste. then they cover it in oil and light it on fire. (that's how it gets cooked.) but from what I can understand it keeps the consistancy of hummus, and it gets served on bread or crackers.
I'm supposed to tell you that my mom will be thinking of you while she's eating (well, "trying out" really) her haggis.
But the squid was good. I've had it fried and grilled. I prefer it grilled, and only as a slight flavor garnish.. at the Mongolian Grill down in DC. (fried is sooooo rich!!! they must have brought us like.. 25 bitty squiddies. I didn't feel so good.. after like 5.)
