about that time
definately could use an update....it's been a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong ole time...but yeah. what have i done in the last few months....well first off i am not at the University anymore...i am takin this term off to work and volunteer and get my head back on. which isn't that hard. i was fine with being here until i watched a video from our house. then i realized how much i loved and missed all my eugene lovers.....it is sorta sad. especially since i am a horrible phone caller. i am volunteering monday through thursday at the elementary school and working mostly with kindergardeners with some first and second graders on the side. i absolutly love kindergarden. i have done so much fun stuff. on wednesday i even get to go on a field trip to a puppet theatre. which will totally be amazing. i love the little boys way more than the girls...i think they are cuter. haha. i have also had more one-on-one time with the boys, because they are further behind or get in more trouble....i can honestly see myself as a kindergarden teacher in the near future. ROCKIN....and i would have one kick ass portfolio and reccomendations.....in other news, i am workin 3 days a week in north bend at my cousins coffee shop...and stayin up there. it is pretty awesome. i learned register pretty fast....like within a day, but haven't worked the bar really. but i hate closing. it takes forever. and you have to like close and still work at the same time. ugh! so also i get to hang out with all my high school friends when i am there. which is awesome...except the transition from college life back to soph in high school life is very difficult. i am used to being like "dakota, do you want to go to nick's at 3 am???" and i respond "HELL YAH!" but here it's like...."what are you doing?" " well i gotta ask my mom...and girls have to be home at 11..." just shit like that....it's pretty annoying....plus i am workin on gettin my license FINALLY. i know. so that will definatly help me out. WHOO. and i might get my car soon as well. which is even better. hmmmmm yeah so that is me for now. love to you all. beef out rabbit!
