I got a lot of stuff for Christmas from my parents. Too much really. I actually started to feel guilty near the end. Sadly, I haven't really gotten into the Christmas spirit yet because it was on Tuesday. Just 5 days after break! However, I'm starting to now (and everyone rejoiced)! I think it was like this last year, too. Maybe worse since x-mas was on a Sunday, right?
Another reason why Christmas spirit was semi-lacking at the Nienaber house is because I had to basically decide which college to go to on Sunday. Sorry, AZins it looks like I'm going to Denison (it's in OH), unless we discover that our plan to refinance the house and gift money does not work. We figured I would personally come out $20, 000 in debt but because that's not a lot of mullah and the college has such a fantastic reputation I could work that off quickly and if I wished to (which I do) repay part or all of the money to my parents that they'll be spending. Not to mention, I'll be coming home every summer during college to work. Fun stuff that is.
So this means I must do stuff with people this winter break. Luckily, Danuser didn't actually assign us anything (I'll be doing my ppt anyways) and the only thing I have is Ac Dec.
"Enough school talk, Olivia!"
Righty-o, then. I've been pondering what I should do for my b-day in January. Not to steal Michelle and Ken's thunder or thing or idea, but I've also been thinking about going to a park. I once had a party at Desert Breeze when I was in 3rd Grade and it went pretty well, as did M & K's. Plus, I can invite more people. Just a heads up for y'all.
I still have to see Juno (it's at Harkins down here!!!!), I Am Legend (curse you Imax for showing crappy Polar Express there instead of this!), Walk Hard, Sweeney Todd (I know throw bottles at me people), Persepolis, & The Savages.
Oh and you should all watch this because I know the people and I want it to get more hits. Maybe it's more funny when you know them, but whatever.
