THIS IS SO WONDERFUL I AM ROLLING AROUND ON THE FLOOR OMG. I LOVE Cas as a human in the way you described him, how he can't totally write in English and is precise and organize. And MAN hurt!Sam and sastiel are my two favorite things in the world, I love it. I love the sort of quiet peace they found together at the end - that's really how I envision their relationship. Wonderful job!

YOU WROTE SAM/CAS and it's pitch-perfect! Your Cas-POV rings totally true, as do their interactions: Sam being the closed book he always is, and Cas just having a completely different set of information than everyone else would have in trying to figure him out. Gorgeous.

I love how much you don't say here, and how part of what Sam needs from Cas is acceptance of not knowing, and the way Sam to Cas is just another mystery to deal with on the human level, but maybe a mystery that's also reassuringly familiar. And the way neither of them is ready to deal with the conflict between Sam and Dean yet, but Cas is kind of ho-hum about apocalyptic fights between Winchesters again, and Sam is concentrating on reinventing himself again and making a life where he's different and has something, the way Sam does.

Lovely. And if you're Spn ficcing in this account now, I must friend it!
