I've gotta say, I really enjoyed these vignettes very much. VERY clever, and well written, and characterization is spot on. I actually loved the "Amelia" bits of Season 8 -- just seeing Sam outside the context of his relationship with his brother and hunting was intriguing, and she's so atypical as a female love-interest: acerbic and broken and with a dad whose teeth I would like to kick in. I'd read more of these, truly!

Haha. This was in response to a recent wave of posts on my dash that went, "omg the writers SUCK" and were dismissive of the events of s8/s9, and even worse, dismissive of the opinions of the people who took them seriously and actively discussed those issues. Usually I either ignore or respond with angry meta; this time I thought I'd do something different. :)

(I have written Samelia before, though, admittedly, only in ficlet form.)
