All this work I have to do, and here I am farting about on the internet.

Speaking of which, remember when I asked if people could think of anything that had actually improved since their childhood? I've come up with something else.

LEGO! )

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! DRAGON!

I'd not seen that particular little beauty! I have many dragons. Perhaps more than is strictly necessary...

Lego is a wonderful thing. Any time I moved home as a child, one of my demands (never met, I'd like to add) was for a loft conversion I could have as just mine, for the purposes of laying out a Lego village. I still have all my lego in the loft in boxes, mostly not assembled though. I had the train, an airport, a police and fire station (no hospital though...) and all manner of amazingly good things. Oh, and a castle. It came with a ghost.

I miss my lego :( It's all boxed away, and the little mini star wars lego I still have out just doesn't mean the same to me :(

I sense a meme in the making... "things that are better now than you remember them in your childhood"... care to make the post on Tang?

Oh yes, and I saw a load of the D&D miniatures stuff when we had them in at IG, and they were, quite frankly, awesome.
