The first sunny day of the first weekend of Spring :D

Yep. SPRING. IT'S SPRING!! Despite all the crazy rain from yesterday (oh my, could it have been a storm? XD), today's weather was quite good! A little windy, but who cares~ I'm planning on making the most of this Spring since I'll be forfeiting my Australian summer for Japanese winter. Shucks, two winters pretty much in a row ;____; At least I get snow over there!!

So... today I went to the beach with my dad and my Japanese exchange student, coz this is her last weekend with us and she hadn't seen the beach during the daytime until today. I'm actually pretty glad that it was windy because it meant bigger waves and more foam when the waves crash against the rocks.

Mmm, the beach we went to wasn't that crowded, thankfully. And in comparison to the beaches right in the heart in Sydney, it was probably pretty much empty :P Okay, a little exagguration there, but... ^_^;;

Here's a pic of the beach we went to, but we spent most of the time up on the headland taking pics of the rocks and stuff :D

This was at the base of the headland, after we had gone up the lookout hill thingy.

Then we went to another lookout place... check out the rocks which look like pancakes :Db

Don't you just love it when waves break?? Especially when they spray foam everywhere and look all pretty <3

And then the water leaves the rocks leaving patterns on the rock, making it look, as I told Snow, similar to vanilla swirl in chocolate icecream *___*

Mmm, one of my favourite pics :D

W-would it sound strange if I said "I like taking pictures of rocks"? Coz really, the rock formations at this beach were really cool >___<

This is a cake. No, really. It's a life-sized cake with icing. J-just ignore the trees/clouds in the background... xDD *sighs* If only it was...

And a picture of the sand, just in case any of you are wondering if I actually went to the beach, since all I'm showing is... rocks.

*sighs* And despite all of the goodness that the beach offers, I hate going to the beach xD Even though I only live about 15-20 mins drive from it, I never go to it :P

Mm, anyway, HAVE A GOOD SPRING, ALL YOU OTHER SOUTHERN-HEMISPHERE RESIDENTS!!! (and a good Autumn to you others in the Northern Hemisphere :D)
