FACT: Rachael Ray is obnoxious.
Okay, I am knitting my dad's Christmas present and listening to Food Network. Rachael Ray is doing an hour long special about her Christmas food and it's obvious that she is not used to using a whole hour (30 Minute Meals, of course). She starts rambling about WEIRD and random things. It's stupid.
I don't know how I am going to finish my Christmas presents. :(
Oh, tonight at choir my goddaughter sat by me (she's 3) and she talked quite a bit! She's rather quiet around people who aren't her mother. Anyway, here's our conversation:
Me: Are you excited for Christmas?
Maria: *nods head* Santa is coming!
Me: Yes he is!
Maria: He's bringing me presents!
Also, I had a fun time with my little cousin today (she’s almost four) while I was baby sitting. She saw me knitting in the round and was confused. Here’s our conversation (best I can remember):
Noelle: What’re you doing?
Me: Knitting.
Noelle: What are those things in your hands?
Me: Needles
Noelle: Pins.
Me: No, knitting needles.
Noelle: They’re pins. They can get crooked.
Me: They look like pins but they are called needles.
Noelle: Needle. Pins. Needle pins. They can get crooked. Be careful or you’ll bend them. I know because my mommy did it. I can do that too. I know.
Me: Oh… That’s nice. /She hasn’t really so I just went along with it./
Noelle: Don’t get tangled in it! BE CAREFUL!
My dad is awake AGAIN. Poor him and going to work early. :(
ALSO, my aunt is probably not going to make it to Christmas. Please keep my family in your prayers.
