Back in Florida...
Well it is almost time to start the next phase of my life. Let me rewind a bit....
I came home to Florida for the month of May...it was so awesome. I did alot of relaxing...exactly what I needed. First was Dustin's graduation...I'm so proud of my baby. Then I got to see my friend Audie!!!! I miss my old roomie!!! Her new condo is so nice. Finally I went to Disney and Universal with my family. My sister and her kids and husband came in from New York...it was so great to see them. We had a huge group...daddy, me, Rachel, Jessica (and Jordan), me (and Dustin), Stephanie (and Jimmy) plus the three kids.
Summer school went by so quickly...I think it was because I was so busy...4 days a week from 7:30am till 2:00pm. Then I usually hit up the gym. But I am so glad it is all over. It is going to be weird not being in school anymore...but I am growing up. :) I got my grades back...three A's...so I am happy about that. Final GPA of 3.909...stupid Dr. Chaffin gave me a B in Legal Studies...oh well...I still get to graduate with honors.
I went to the NATA convention in Atlanta in June...it was a blast. I was able to see so many of my friends from UCF and went to the Bodies Exhibit. I also had an interview for a job in California. I am still in the interview process for that job...but it is looking pretty promising.
My last days in Tennessee were bittersweet...I am happy to be starting the next phase of my life but I am also sad to leave my friends and the Nashville area. I loved it up there...put it this way...if I wasn't so in love with my fiance...I would love to stay in Tennessee for another few years. The 4th was a blast...we had a BBQ at Andy's new house and then went on post (Ft. Campbell) to watch the fireworks and check out the carnival. The last day of classes one of the guys (Travis) in our class threw a Farm Fiesta. He lives out in Guthrie and his parents have about 300 acres. It was so much fun. Almost the whole class showed up along with their significan others as well as Travis's family and coworkers. The last night all the ATCs were together we went down to Nashville. Went to The Stage...it was awesome...where was a live band playing nothing but country alllll night!!!! That is my kinda entertainment. Kristen and I were up front just singing allll night long. Finally my daddy come up to move me out of my apartment. :( I cant believe it went by so fast.
Well now I am back in Florida for the next 2 weeks. Then I am headed out to California with my baby. I am actually really excited about this move. I'm a little nervous because I dont have a definate job right now...but other than that I think it will be a good experience. My next project will be to continue planning the wedding and of course fixing up the apartment once we get out to California.
This weekend I am heading up to Central Florida to say goodbye to some of my friends....well as Kristen would put it...I'll see ya later!! It will be a nice weekend....going to visit Monica on Friday, hitting up COWBOYS on Saturday night, and then celebrating Dustin's birthday on Sunday!!!
Time to get ready for my phone interview...
