Update on my life as a college kid
It's been awhile....I just realized that as I was reading everyone else's entries and had to go back about a week to catch up with everyone's lives. So far I've been going to classes (most of them anyways), Rugby practice, games, sleep, and eating. That is my life. Not really much time for anything else. O and I got a new roomie is so far is super cool. Shes a freshman from South Korea....although shes a US citizen cuz her dad is in the military (took me awhile to figure out).
Anyways I thought I would upload a few pics from my game against U of M today. We lost our first game by 3 points and played a second game that was only 15 mins long rather than the full 80 cuz their team didn't want to play due to lack of players. But, we won that game 14-5 and I had some amazing runs in that one (Mostly because I was playing Hooker and actually somewhat knew what I was doing) :-) I'm putting up some pics from our game....and yes our jerseys say National Guard on them........i think they sponsor it or have scholarships or something....cuz it seems like everything Rugby related has their name on it...even the ball.
(This is a line out (aka throw in)...both teams missed the ball and a few secs later I leaped in the air and caught it...Im #18 on the left)

(I ended up losing the ball, so we had to scrum (thats what this thing is called)....I'm the one in the front middle of the pack in white even though u cant really see me...and I did win the ball with my fabulous hooker skills ;-))
(I ended up with the ball again cuz someone passed it to me and once again Im running for my life towards the endzone ( i dont remember what its called in rugby))
(Still running....the other girl, we named her Ninja cuz she was fast and ninja-like....although I made it past her)
(I was so close to getting a try (aka touchdown) but this girl got me.....I was only 20 yards away and had just run across half the field past everyone)
(And.....I'm down)
