Yeah, so I was downloading ringtones earlier today [I have Crawling, A Place For My Head, and Again I Go Unnoticed so far...] and they're... odd? Not exactly what I was expecting, but nontheless... *shrug* It works at least! hahaha, so I'm good with that. Pointless update, just finally giving recaps of my Arizona trip :) [I need a hobby... damnit...]! Blah, anyways, yes...
Well then, I’m back from Scottsdale, Arizona. Random fact: Did you know that Scottsdale is like the third wealthiest city in the US? Holy shit could you tell! I swear to you all I saw, well, pretty much all I saw, were people driving in Escalade, Mercedes Benz, and all those expensive, nevergonnahaveinmylife cars... Dear God. And across from the hotel we stayed at, the Kierland I think it’s called, had all these shops in ‘em, but mind you, they’re all like the labels that I could never afford - Gucci, Lucy, FCUK {which is French Connection UK if you didn’t know :D} and all kinds more. I stopped in Gucci, and this chick with her mom eyed me like, “What in the hell are you doing here?” Obviously, we stood out, A LOT! And when I stopped in this other shop, it was SO freakin expensive, it was scary. There were these awesome sweat pants that I wanted, but they were $190... yeah, a little, well, hugely out of my league. *shakes head*
Well, let me recap our wonderful family trip for you:
Sunday: We leave, I get up at like 5 in the morning [God doesn’t even know why] to get ready for a flight that should not exist that early... We get there and all is well, except for the heat! Holy high heavens it’s hot there! *wipes sweat from forehead just thinking about it* Eh, that part was bad, but the hotel was awesome! We changed into our suits [if only I could pull one off better.... *sighs*] and the pool there was kinda dinky, mainly because the hotel is really into the family dynamics, so of course it’s a pool that little kids can play in safely without drowning. I mean, they did have an “adult pool”, or so it was called, but it was for all the older people who didn’t want to be bothered, who would sit and read but not swim at all [kind of like what I did, except I did swim for a little bit... :P] Insert note here: they have HOT guys in Arizona! Well, from what I saw in Scottsdale they do! ;) The lifeguards there, oh good Lord they are fine! I saw SO many hot guys
Monday: We hit the pool again, same old’ story, except when we wanted to go back to our hotel room, the maid had yet to clean our room. Mind you, we were gone for a good few hours, so I have no idea what was taking so long. But we, being my mom, my sister and I, went down to the lobby and sat there for like 2 hours!! Ok, that was a little crazy, but nothing really exciting happened the rest of the day so...
Tuesday: Same routine as Monday pretty much, it was a little too hot to do anything out of the ordinary. I did take a nap though, which is pretty unusual for me because I never take naps unless I’m sick, but now I’m all kind of messed up with, well, just about everything, so I don’t know... *shrugs* Only time will tell I guess. :\ Oh! My sister and I played endless games of pool throughout our time, but today was a special day. My sister and I met these kids who wanted to play with us, and they were so adorable!! Awww, it was so cute. We decided to play with doubles, even though there’s another kid because he’s just too small and everything - hey, he’s 4, so don’t get mad! LOL
K, so these kids: Rayc, Peyton, and Reed. Rayc and Peyton are 9, and Reed’s 4. Ohmigod, they are SO cute! I was on a team with Rayc, and my sister was with Peyton. Originally she was with Reed, but he couldn’t hit the ball really well because he was only a little taller than the pool table itself, so the ball didn’t ever really go anywhere - it was hilarious! Bad thing though: I taught them how to swear. Well, not an actual swear word but I said, “Oh crap”, when I messed up on this shot like really badly, and everyone turns around and their eyes bug out! Yeah, oh shit. Well, I try to back what I said like saying, “Oh, I said oh goodness”, or something like that. And when I said ohmigod, they all started copying me! It was like the nightmare that wouldn’t end, because then Reed says “Oh crap!” in this little squeaky voice. So cute, and yet so wrong! Oh, my sister was so pissed off at me...
