Here's what's happening.
I graduated, went home for a minute, went to Europe for a month with Claire and it was completely, incredibly, totally, utterly amazing. We went from Amsterdam, NL to Heidelberg, DE to Berlin DE to Prage, CZ to Interlaken, CH to Rome, IT to Monterosso, IT to Geneva, CH (just for a night. There was a rave going on outside our window but I was really sick and we had to catch a 6 AM train. It was basically torture) to Barcelona, SP to Nice/Canne, FR to Paris, FR to Brussels, BE to Amsterdam, NL.
Trains, planes, and scooters, maps, cough medicine, castles, cathedrals, space cakes, museums, techno, American oldies, Doner kebabs, Esther Brilliant, mountains, waffles, markets, the Mediterranean, Salvatore Nicora - Poet of Love, La Paloma, Absinthe, mimes, sangria, squares, fountains, many, many miles through many, many winding cobblestoned streets.
Bikes, bikes bikes.
Beer, beer, beer!!
Boys, boys, boys!!!!

It was so amazing that I can't even talk about it because nothing I say will ever do this trip justice. It was the best time I have ever had in my entire life. I CANNOT wait to go back.

I was back in Boston for a few days, then home again for another minute. Hung out with the usual suspects and also went to ALL GOOD. Though the line-up wasn't as good as last year, it was the best All Good yet. Courtney and I drove in on Thursday and met up with Marcia and Martin and some strangers we'd never seen before who soon became amazing new friends. Tommy and Beth from Alabama and Darin and Patrick from Indiana. We camped and hung out with them all weekend and they were seriously the best people I've ever met. Certainly the most sincere and generous. LOVED them. All Good was so good. Gahhh.

Came back to Boston. Back to work. Back the the usual Boston summer sweaty dance party lazy time. Met a nice boy who was headed to France for a year in a month. Took a terrible camping trip. Worked lots and lots. Spent time with the boy before he left, time which included bike riding and picnicking but mostly just laying in grass. Really enjoyed this boy a tremendous amount and was sad to see him go. Moved to the North End. Quit job.

I'm probably going to have knee surgery within a month. Europe was rough on me, not to mention running around at work for 40 hours a week and all that dancing. So look for a heavily-medicated Mary in Virginia for a couple of weeks.
