He wrapped them and everything. Extra points because he had given me the scarf for christmas two years earlier.
WHAT WAS THE SWEETEST THING SOMEONE HAS DONE TO YOU? WHO WAS IT?
1. Jen and Allison went around asking people to write down what they liked about me. They compiled the responses, created a laminated poster and presented it to me for my 18th birthday. It was the best present I have ever received.
2. Ross and I were sitting out on the beach. He was fretting about my feelings for Galen, I was fretting about proving to him that I loved him and fretting about him wanting me. I was crying. He told me to stand up and I confusedly did. Then he pulled me close and we started to slow-dance. Oh my goodness it was like a friggin movie!
3. When Galen was at Penn State and I was at Whittier we were desperate for one another and it was horrible not being together. One day I received a box. Sitting inside was a necklace; on the inside of the box it said "I miss the freckles on your shoulders." I called Galen immediately to thank him and he said that he was walking around town and there was a Canadian craftsman selling his wares. He said he saw the necklace and thought of me and just had to get it for me. I basically died right then.
4. When I was extra in love and heart broken over Galen I did stupid things like stumble to his residence in the middle of the night, drunk and pleading for him to see me. One time when he wanted nothing to do with me I climbed up the fire escape and knocked on his window. I realized he wasn't going to love me or want me or even see me, but I just wanted to go through his room to leave instead of climbing down the scary ladder (I was very drunk, obviously). But Galen absolutely refused to let me in. The commotion woke up his next-door neighbor who opened his window and helped me inside. There I locked myself in the bathroom and I'm sure caused him a lot of annoyance. But instead of walking away, he calmed me down and took care of me. I have no idea what his name is or where he is now, but that guy was an angel.
