And This Little Piggy Said...
Yesterday I attended Bee Ling's (my ex-colleague) wedding dinner at Cheras. It was at this chinese restaurant situated next to Leisure Mall, in the building that used to be Sedaya College. The dinner was your typical chinese courses but they had suckling piggy mmm I think I ate a bit to much of it, it was quite fatty but the skin was really nice. Doesn't it look like its sleeping under a blanket of crackers? I didn't stay through the whole meal though I left at around the 3rd last dish (vegetables) cause dad and mum's movie had finished so it was time to go. Yeah, I asked dad to send me to the place and told him I'd probably take a cab back, but he was like they would go watch a movie and wait for me =p
Ahh but today I'm SUPER happy!! And not because I got my grubby hands on the 2008-2009 Arashi Calendar that comes with a cook book with Arashi recipes. Nope the only reason that can top any Arashi related or other happiness is of course precious little McMeg. Had dinner with the family tonight at Ampang Point and she let me carry her ^_^ Dad and I were carrying her around the floor so that Erika could eat and McMeg let me
carry her first. Then she went to dad and after that let me carry her again before asking for dad. Ahhh... and I think she was playing with me too hehe she did high 5 and giggle and laugh at me. I'm like YES!! Hopefully she will recognize me next week too haha.
Ah yes, today, I met up with this seller who was I buying the Arashi 2008-2009 Calendar from at Mid Valley. I had been keeping an eye out for a reasonable price one because it contains a cook book and photo book with recipes by Arashi. The calendar and cook book is only slightly larger than half A4, but wow... I really love the pictures just take a look at this!!
Definitely like the photos ones here better than this year's calendar hahaha and of course, I'm sure there are translations of the recipes online so I'm definitely going to try them out especially Sakurai's stewed pork and potato bowl with green pea savory custard. The cook book's really cool, the cover is like a green checkered table cloth and it even feels a little like that haha the binding is not very good though, I think I better be careful with it or it may just come apart!!
