Live high, Live mighty.
So this past weekend was one of the best I have had in a very long time. I left Jacksonville Thursday and headed down to West Palm Beach to visit Stacey. When I got there Thursday night we went to the mall for a bit. Shopped around, got some cute shirts and headed home. Friday we woke up early to do some last minute shopping to find outfits for that night. Then that evening we headed down to Miami beach to go to the Jason Mraz concert. After over a month of waiting for our tickets to arrive in the mail, wondering if we were about to be scammed out of our money, we finally got them and it was actually here! We were soo excited to say the least. We looked cute and arrived at the theater. As we make our way to our seats we are greeted with "Dorthy", our 85 year old usher. "Dorthy" was a firecracker. Half cute-little-old-lady and half obnoxiously taking her job ridiculously too seriously. She let us know that we were going to be sitting "close to God tonight" as she put it in the very last seats in the theater. The LAST SEATS! How does that happen?? Non-the-less we were happy to be there. After the opening act we were being silly leading to me dropping my camera and it breaking, go freakin figure. My track record with camera/phones/computers etc is not very good...
The concert was soo amazing! One of the best ive ever been to. <3 Jason Mraz!! :)
Saturday morning we went on the Diva Duck!! A land and boat tour around West Palm Beach. It was awesome! So relaxing and interesting to see some of the mansions and history of WPB. After the tour we went to meet Stacey's Mom and her friends to watch the SEC Championship game. Of which the Gators won which was amazing!!!! Soo exciting they are champs again, and headed to the National Championship now! yay!
Sunday morning we went to church and lunch and then I had to head back to PO and later to Jax.
It was so good to see her again, it had been about 4 months since her last visit to Jacksonville. We had just started becoming close friends last year when she decided to move back home which was a big bummer so it is always nice to be able to continue our friendship still.
Other than my wonderful weekend down south I have a lot going on this week and the next few weeks.
Work, finishing up school this week, North Carolina for a week with Dad, Christmas, Stacey's coming to visit Jax for New Years, then Miami for the National Championship game!!! :)
