lose our troubles, because after all its Christmas time..
It's that time of year again. When our glittering Christmas tree becomes the focal point of the living room and the smell of fresh baked cookies is a familiar one. It is such a wonderful time of year. The weather gets cooler, well, sort of, and spending quality time with family and friends is cherished.
As it is two days before Christmas I find myself wondering how in the world we got here. How did an entire year already go by? Time really does fly.
This break has been nice thus far. Took a little trip up to North Carolina for a few days. It snowed, which, of course, was lovely. Spending time with family was really nice. My 4 year old cousin is the best thing ever. So smart, and witty. She amazes me.
Last night was probably the best night in a long time. Catching up with a best friend. Laughing like we used to, crying, hugging. It was exactly what I needed. She means so much to me.
