We just found out that our program's budget adjustment request was turned down. This means we won't have enough money to run the program through, say, March without some major adjustments. As in, less clients, less activities, less staff. Fuckin' awesome.
I'm already filling out a Teach For America application, and I'll be researching more teaching programs in the meantime. Guess I'll definitely be moving out of state, come June. Hopefully I'll still have a job until then. Any suggestions as to where I should move?
My mom is going to M.D. Anderson in Houston for a 2nd opinion next week. If they take her, she'll pretty much have to live at the center while she's under treatment. They already can't afford the medical bills. I'm actually thinking about moving out there, just so she'll have a place to stay. I fucking hate Texas.
