Long Overdue Update
Still no internet at home, and the tech guy at work is a dick, so I don't get to post much lately, kids. Cry for me.
My mom has an inoperable tumor in her lung, supposedly about the size of my fist. She won't tell me more at this point, but I'm not stupid. Kiddo and I are driving down to Texas for Christmas. My bank account and my ailing little Saturn are both trying to convince me otherwise, but I'll fucking walk there if I have to.
I'm getting ready to send out applications to teaching programs around Chicago. It's really not my first choice to relocate, but at least I have family there. If anybody has any other suggestions, I'm listening. Michigan is out of the picture, however, so long as we're talking about teaching.
Women still suck. (or don't, if you take my meaning) Why can't I find a sweet, beautiful girl who's honest to a fault and wild in the sack, and who would be completely happy with a schlub like me? On a side note, as I get older I realize more and more that 'sweet' and 'honest' tend to contradict each other. That, or I'm just an asshole.
