It stings

Last night, Joey called at 10:00 and we talked for almost an hour. He thinks I still like him or something.
Today was interesting. Anjie woke me up like I told her to so I could take a shower. I then threw all of my softball stuff into my backpack so I could ride my bike to practice. My dad has to sleep during the day and I had to get myself there. I got there twenty minutes early. Practice itself was okay. There were only 8 of us out of the 15 on the team, so I got to play first base and second base a little bit. I was playing first base when someone hit a pop fly...I couldn't see it because of the sun, so I blindly tried to catch it. Instead of landing in my glove, it tonked me right on the wrist. I almost fell over because it hurt so bad. There's a little red welt where the ball hit me. But I kept playing. Amy lent me her sunglasses. Thank you, Amy!!! Later, I caught a fast line drive right to first. Of course, it was going so fast that it bent my wrist backward. You can imagine how much agony I was in then. When practice was over I got back on my bike and rode home. At one point a car was parked right where I was going and I almost had to veer into the road. I almost fell off the bike when a stupid mail truck was in my way. Nonetheless, I got home.
I chilled out for awhile afterwards, did laundry, boring crap. Dad woke up and we practiced outside before he had to leave for work. Well that's basically it.
Oh, yeah the title. Apparently, I got a sunburn on my arms at practice and it just decided to show its ugly face. My arms are killing me. Time to get the aloe vera!
