I actually spent a while trying to decide who the Witch of the North would be. (Because that part is based on book!canon - it's the Witch of the North who Dorothy meets at the start, and she doesn’t meet Glinda, who is the Witch of the South, until the end. Also, the Witch of the North is very motherly, and Glinda is portrayed as very wise and beautiful, not the bubbly version from the movie.) I knew Glinda would be Hawkeye, but I thought about both Izumi and Olivier as the Witch of the North. In the end, though, I was just too in love with the idea of Ross busting in and saving them with magic. XD

I have to admit, while Ozymandias does probably have some symbolic/metaphorical connections to the character and story, I picked it because it starts with Oz. XD

He was just as luminous, but without the same warmth, and he was going out of his way to avoid touching Al./my personal protest against the lukewarm reunion and the fact that the Elric brothers don’t hug ONCE :P

Ahaha I totally did that on purpose; when you specifically asked for alt!Roy I was like “I have to do something epic with him for her”, and that was my attempt. XD Also re: Wicked Witch of the West, I had been toying around with the idea of doing it as Wizard of Oz, and that was when I KNEW. XD

Roy in a high school AU and every time there's a fire drill…AHAHAHAHA. We need this to happen; we should write an epic high school AU crackfic or something. :P
