Monsterous Update
Heya. Sometimes I feel weird writing in my LJ...but I'm going to do it anyway. How old is too old to have an LJ?
Anyway, my valentine's day was really nice...it included a trip to the Galleria mall to go sneaker browsing (Sneaker pimps?), some taco bell (and an Auntie Anne's pretzel), and Hitch, followed by a trip to the McCann center. It was nice to go to the gym...we keep saying we'll go, then we don't, so I hope we stick with it this time. I'm not even in extreme pain right now.
Come to think of it, I'm not even experiencing mild pain right now. Maybe that's because it's absolutely gorgeous out. The high today is something like 54°...amazing.
I haven't really written much this semester, so I will tell you about my classes:
Beginner French 2: Much different from Beginner French 1, although I have the same professor and about half of the class is the same. Suddenly everything is much harder and a lot more confusing. I got an A- in french 1 and expect maybe a B- in french 2. In about two weeks I need to give a presentation on Celine Dion...hm.
Teaching of the Language Arts I : I think this class will be really difficult since the format of the tests seems nearly impossible. However, every time I leave the class I'm really excited to use what I learned. I'm definitely learning a lot (if only more creative ways to think about teaching), and it's making me eager to begin teaching.
Educational Psychology: This is a night class and meets every Thursday night from 6:30 to 9:15 (yes, when the OC is on). The first and second weeks were okay...not too interesting, but I survived them. The third week she let us go after we watched about an hour of a video...and then last week, the fourth week, she never showed up for class...So, I haven't learned much of anything, but I have gotten to see the OC two weeks in a row! So who can complain?!
History of the Hudson River Valley: ARGH...impossible class. impossible.
BioPsychology: Fun class. Kind of reminds me of Physics at IHA w/ Adamo...but not quite that fun.
So, I think it will be a difficult semester, however, I'm done with Statistics, so I'm sure I can accomplish just about anything now...
I put some more pictures on my old webshots site. I thought I didn't like doing that, however, I was looking at old pictures on it the other night, and it made me realize that I really do like webshots. Question: Is the webshots desktop going to eff up my computer? I ran adaware after I downloaded it, and nothing related to that came up, so i think I'm safe...but any input would be cool.
You know how people are occasionally more apt to reveal something about themselves when they're drunk or high? I find that I'm more willing to open up to people when THEY'RE drunk or high. I wonder if this is a bad habit to fall into?
I guess that's about all...I never really know what to write about anymore...so, if you have any questions, ask them, and maybe i'll write about it! haha.
