What Do You Have To Say? - To Shoot or Be Shot?

I love this question enough to answer it......

I definitely love being behind the camera. I love taking pictures, that's a major part of it. The other thing, that I begin to notice, and it's in a lot of things I do in my life is that taking pictures is a form of control. When you take a picture, you have a lot of control. Such as you can control what pictures you plan to take. With all those million options that your camera has, it just screams control. I think the closet control freak in me, appreciates it. You have the ability to paint a picture based on what you see in a little box that we call a viewfinder. Finally, I think that being behind the camera, you get an opportunity to create something great, you are creating art that can become a masterpiece, something that you can call your own, it's your work. Honestly, the ability to capture my vision onto a photograph is pretty awesome.

As of late, I am beginning to like being in front of the camera more. From all the pictures, I have taken or seen, I always try to eliminate myself from the picture. I wondered I wanted to be a part of those memories not so much removed when I am taking them. I felt like I was missing out and want to at least have some record that I was a part of something rather than relying on, "oh I took that shot" no one really cares about that  to be honest. I wanted to look back down the road and say, "I am glad I was a part of that and that I am able to relive it over and over and over"
