(no subject)
It's been so long since I wrote anything here, it's almost scary. Partly I guess it's because I was busy, partly because I lost interest, and partly because of the username. :P
black_rosepetal is now officially renamed duchessdetail. I got tired of the whole emo thing, not to mention the underscore - it's bloody annoying to write out!
The new one is slightly ridiculous, I agree, but it makes me smile, and at least dawrei understands me. :D (Shinyverse forever!)
So, what's happened in the last year? Well, I've gotten older, and perhaps a little wiser. I've gained some faith in myself, and maybe even lost a bit of my cynicism, which is a relief. I feel more relaxed now, less stressed, more in harmony with...myself, I guess.
I'm planning to start studying Psychology in the University of Oslo this autumn, and I will get in. That means moving away from home - it'll be a great change, but one I thnk I'm ready for. It'll also mean that I get to see my brother more often than twice a year, and that's gonna be lovely.
I've also gotten addicted to tea, which I blame solely on dawrei and Marleen, them and their Dutch habits. I visited with them a week ago, and great fun was had.
(Although we learned a lesson, too, about never ever going riding and then shopping the day after.)
I'm looking forward to having a place to write down my thoughts again, and getting back into the swing of things. LJ, it's been too long!
