(no subject)
I think that it's becoming very obvious that I don't do anything for hours at a time while I'm in the office. It could just be in my head; maybe no body cares or even thinks about whether or not the interns are really doing anything. I do work when they ask me too, but now that I have this article to write I don't have any pressure to do my work quickly. The article isn't due until the end of the month, I've already written out my basic ideas and know what I'm doing for my part of it, and another intern is just starting her work on it. With all of that, I've just now decided it doesn't matter what I'm doing. As I said to some computer tech guy who was asking for my advice, "I'm just an intern."
In other excitement, Scrim is arrive at 5:20 this evening! I'm v. excited! We are going to watch some of the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on a pier a dusk maybe and get cheese con queso and watch Saw! We shalll go to dunk with my momma for breakfast and to the pier and then jamba and some shopping. It's just been tooo long since I've seen my scrim, over 2 months. We shall cuddle and it will be a delight.
I'm out of the office in approx. a half hour. Taking my check to the bank and stocking up on toiletries that I have needed to purchase for the past week. Along with the excitement of the Scrumptious Scrim visiting, I'm getting a new cell phone for Europe and HARRY POTTER comes out in less than 24 hours. I absolutely love this weekend!
Back to work, meaning wandering to the bathroom to waste about ten minutes, then slowly check all my random email accounts, pretend I'm doing research. THEN OUT. happy weekend.
