Wow you know where getting close to camp when Wally is signing players almost everyday. However, before I talk about the lovely additions to our wonderful team I would like to take a moment to reflect of the players we have lost. Thats right I'm gonna miss Chris Brazzel, Cam Legault, and Marc Pilon. They were great players and I wish them the best.I am also going to miss beyond what I care to share the greatest coach on the BC Lions Coach Richard Harris. Now to the glorious re-signing of my baby, long snap specialist and best ass in the league, Billy Chamberlain, who after being released from the Lions joined the stamps for a year. We also have added a 326lbs. Irainan dude which should prove to be interesting. We have also resigned CARL KIDD and TYRONE WILLAMS which is just the greatest thing since sliced bread. Seriously these two are the essential to me having fun on game night parties. Also as you all know Ty and I share a B-day (OCT 22nd) on which we have a game; for all you counting thats two in a row. This year Sara will also be celebrating her b-day with the lions on a game night. Should be interesting.
There are some key players up for re-newel of contracts:
Casey Printers, of course,- Wally has offered $1 million over 4 years in response to Casey's asking bid of $1.4 million and the starting job in BC. Personally I think Casey should take the deal and prove he can do the starting job at camp.
Jason Clermont - has been offered a 3 year deal but is still pending on a decision... looks like he's waiting on the bonuses... This is kid smart when it comes to his contract and finances I just hope he doesn;t piss Wally off. Come on J I want you to stay in BC;
Javier Glatt and Brent Johnson- okay there have been no rumors over these two but there are some major issues. The D coaches have announced that they are going to a 3-4 defense which give Javi a better chance a contract but since he's injured that might not come so easy. And Brent a contender for Canadian of the year my have trouble re-signing especially with the departure of Coach Harris;
Barrin Simpson - there is no news of contract talks between the organization and its second highest paid players. Barrin is the star on defense and shouldn't have a problem re-signing;
Spergen Wynn - Wally has made an offer to Spergen but negotiations continue pending trade talks, Spegen is a great QB to good to sit on the bench. I love you Sperg, especially your sneak but if the best place for you is not with the lions I hope you get a much better position. Although if Dave would bugger off or become the QB coach Spergen could be second string and we would have a great QB team;
And finally Bobby Singh - we are short on O-line players but Wally has been signing tons of them as of late so this one is up in the air.
