Foxboro for a reserve game this afternoon.
It extended my day quite a bit because the time I'd usually spend writing articles, I spent watching the reserve game because I had to wait until afterwards in order to interview people.
But it was an enjoyable day out in the sun nonetheless.
----
Played hoops for the first time in quite a long time.
I'm pretty terrible. My defense has slid off the level of acceptable. My shot is weak, though I scored 6 points in one game to 11. I can't really rebound.
Basically, I prefer it when the ball is on the ground. I can kick it that way.
----
Watched U.S. - Guatemala tonight.
Talk about a hack fest. The Guats can't play footie with the U.S. Ergo, they have to play compactly and look to destroy in midfield. Dempsey scored an early goal, yet the Guatemalans couldn't really mount an attack.
The United States is clearly better than everyone else in its group. But...the Gold Cup is an odd tournament.
(Side note: Why do sports teams take the article 'their'? It should be 'its' because teams are singular. Argh.)
----
Somewhat interested in the NBA Finals.
I watched a bit of the first quarter. It was ok. I can't see the Cavs doing much; they have no depth.
----
Caught bits and pieces of Colorado-Houston in MLS action as well.
Can't say either team looks like a Cup winner to me. NY, NE, and KC are the top three by my eyes, but these things change over the course of a season.

I think my uncle is stopping by tomorrow at some ungodly early hour. Like 11am.
Perhaps some cards later at night.

Bed now.
