I am completley incompident when it comes to Livejournal ( and spelling). I haven't posted in a long time and when i decided to come back tonight, my font looked uncomfortably large on the page. I tried to make it smaller...and notice... it's exactly that same. I couldn't figure it out.
Break is drawing to a close. I'm in limbo on that fact. Going back will be good, but I like being here too... what evs... it all works out. I'm a generally happy person able to maintian a generally happy mood anywhere (I DO understand that there are some "anywheres", where that might not apply.. but I think my statment gets the message across). Theres always something to look forward to.
tonight... the long anticipated Emily Haines & the Soft Skeleton. I would venture to say she/they fulfilled 98.5% of my expectations. Ms. Haines def. sounds outstanding live! Her voice is even better than on the cd. Not bad... not bad at all! and the opening band was a liiiitle a bit (no I'm not italian.. but I do like pasta)... too mellow for my tastes... but good. So This is something I noticed. Walking into the paradise... the sign said Emily Haines & the Soft Skeleton...for obvious reasons. Walking out it Said The Dears.... they don't waste anytime. I sware! Slow down folks! I can see the little man on the ladder getting radiod on his walkie talkie the second Emily Haines walks on stage, so he can replace all the little plastic letters Asap! Heaven forbit... a second of advertising time is lost. I was kind of looking forward to seeing the name on the sign when I came out. So who ever that little man ( or woman) is... I would like you to know that you took my almost perfect mood down about 1/2 a notch( hense the 0.5 on my rating of the night)... when I looked up at the sign while leaving the club. Not cool. Anyway I don't to end something positive on a negtive note. When in Rome... Oh wait... that doesn't apply to this situation ( kudos anchorman)
Word on the street is the next few days might bring some almost seasonably cold weather and possibly even.. dare i say it... snow. I don't think I know what snow is anymore. it's kind of like rain only less depressing...thats all I can seem to remember. Anyway... goodnight. I will leave you with some words of wisdom.
