Kool Kids called me in this morning - woke me up at 6.55am.
Her - "hi melissa"
Me - "yes"
her - "Sorry for waking you"
Me - "uh huh"
her - "It's melissa here"
Me - "Huh???" (muchos frazled...it was early)
her - "It's melissa from kool kids...."
Me - "Oh Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii (lol doofus)
anyway, i worked 9 - 5.30 in the zero to twos babies room - changed some super rancid nappies!
at 4.30 this arvo, they asked me to come back.
Alicia goes "hey mel are u working anywhere tomorrow???"
i tell her no im not at this point. she says "do you know how to cook?" i say yes and that i specialize in cooking for children with allergies from my previous job .
Our cook has called in sick tomorrow, can u come cook for us 7am til 1pm.
Sure i say... not only did i get paid $19.85 an hour today for casual 8 hours. as a cook tomorrow i get $22.47 an hour because i have a food handling certificate.
thats a huge fucken jump from my FULL TIME wage at dullie at a whopping $14.32 an hour!!
