I had the best night I've had in a long, long time. it was just so much fun. I was at the perfect level of buzz. I saw so many people I haven't seen in ages who I actually wanted to see. though much of my time was spent escaping people, I had a perfect new years kiss. it was a blast just dancing and mingling. then afterwards, the lint rollers! and the 80's music. really funny conversations, just kicking it with everyone. swapping some numbers. I just can't stop smiling.

in other news, I haven't really gotten out of bed yet. I just re-watched garden state and realized that the first time I saw it most of it went way over my head. I'm knitting and reading narcissus and goldmund and eating chocolate. it's the good life.
the past few days have been just kickass.
