of Time and Space
So I've started working at the bank again, for those of you who didn't know. I worked at the bank full time last summer as well, but this summer will be a little different. I'm going to be working at B&N as well, so I will be working the bank in the mornings and saturdays, and then the bookstore during the week at night. My schedule looks something like:
Mon-Fri 8am - 11pm
Sat 8:30 - 12pm
EDIT: My schedule is going to change, i want some time to myself, but i will keep ya'll updated about days off... or rather, nights off.
I enjoyed two weeks of 'free time', tho i think i mostly screwed up my sleeping schedule. Thats okay tho, it was alot of fun, i got little done, but i enjoyed time to read and what not.
Speaking of reading, i read American Gods by Neil Gaiman. If you have the chance to read this book, Do it! It was really good, well written and funny.
Anyway, I've been working on catch up with manga, I'm thinking maybe i will try to find a way to bring some to work, like on a flash drive, but we'll see.
Work at the bank hasn't changed much. Been some changes in who works there, but boring as usual. I spent the first hour of my shift on my check book (i was like 30 cents off, but i found it) And i also spent a crazy long time trying to get one post out on LJ. still trying its now been chopped up in a bunch of posts. stupid thing... I am gonan work on some books i have at home and maybe give in and REBUY Angel Sanctuary 9 so i can completely reread the series, specially now thats its finished and i own every other volume. Well its only my first day back...
my brother came home about a week ago, and he finally spent some time with us yesterday. It was fun to see him again and just hang out. The whole weekend was really good tho.
On Friday i came home to josh! Got to spend time with him a bit and then on saturday me him and mom went to cape cod for the night because of a charity walk for rett syndrome. After we went down to Province town and checked into the hotel, then went downtown. It was a lot of fun walking around, and even more fun watching all the gay dudes oogle Josh. heheh :P.
I got mom to buy a game called what the f*ck. (so fun, its actually a drinking game but you can play with points too. still fun.) I also got josh his own set of dice and a new hacky sack ^_^ heheh. So we went back to play in the hotel pool and then chilled in the room playing when the thunderstorm started. (the pool was MEGA fun ^_^)I fell asleep wicked early.
We left early on sunday and me and josh did some job stuff together. When we went back home we ate fajitas and played the f*ck game again with mom, dad, josh, aunty, uncle tony, and phil. Phil showed us pictured from iraq (later that night he showed josht the bloody ones) I may put up some pictures from phil and recent ones of josh and later. Later on josh and i watched the stand, but i fell asleep -_-; I tired to get more of my room stuff done, but that didn't really happen.
I think this summer is going to be really busy for me. There are supposed to be frequent camping trips and hiking trips, plus a couple trips to six flags, and i still need to meet up with steve for a night at his school, on top of that there is trying to see friends here and there and then just plain old alone time with josh. I wonder if i will ever get to work on my room and attic :/. I gues thats my only regret about having to work the two jobs. i loose literally all my free time during the week cause i'm working from when i wake up till i go to sleep and then i can only make plans to be social on weekends, so there goes my own time yanno.
It'll be worth it in the end, but the peace of mind one gets from cleaning and organizing is, i think, largely underrated. I really enjoy going through my stuff. Lately my target has been my closet, and its been cool going through the stuf in there cause its been ages. i like going thru things when josh is around cause then i can show him everything, but then again it cuts into our us time so i understand that he doesn't like it when i start organizing my junk... I did find my camera tho. its been missing since Animeboston.
Now i need to buy:
-Memory Card
-Tubs from Walmart
-Father's Day stuff
I'm sure theres more but i dunno right now. I'm sure i'll find more to yak about soon.
