I'm on a high right now
So life isn't kicking me in the ass right now! It's so awesome. Last school year was really really hard on me. I burned myself pretty bad between work and school, and had trouble keeping my grades up. Not to mention a constant lack of money.
This year is looking like it will be different. I've started my first week of school with only having work on saturday. I got a job interview with Barnes & Noble, and found out i was already hired, we just eneded to work out the details of when and how much. The pay isn't as much as i wanted, but all the discounts totally make up for it. I'm gonna save so much money by working there! Now the best part is, i will only be working three days a week. DURING the week. as in Mon - Friday. I will have weekends more or less to myself! I will work sat morning at FNBI and then from noon- on i have my weekend to myself! I can keep seeing Josh! And i will have plenty of time (well...) to devote to that research paper. ^_^ This is so cool! so as long as i get a decent amount on a loan i will be doing great. i will start saving for next year and maybe have a little money for myself (gas money... !_!)
But yay! awesomeness! I won't die this year! This is sooooo awesome! I get Half off Chai now, #0 off books, and 15 or 20 off music and dvd's! SO cooL! happy! and i think i get an extra ten off cause i have that membership! Weeeee!
Josh and i were able to work out the weekend as well. We'll be going to capecod tonight, after we meet my brother's girl friend . that should be cool too ^_^ can't wait.
In other news, my nephew was here most of the week, and i was happy for it. I was afraid he'd hate us the entire time since his mom thinks it's fun to screw with her son and his family, but he loves us still, and got over his mom's influence really fast. I played ball and helped him catch frogs in the yard. I feel bad i couldn't do more with him but i had homework and was really tired at night, but all is cool, we'll see him again soon.
Crystal has moved out !_! i'll miss having her around, it was really awesome having a friend right there when i needed to cry. And i hope i was a help to her. Love ya crystal!!! We'll miss you!
I got my laptop cable from josh's hous,e but then lost my keys. It's along story but in the end the awesome people in his neighborhood went out of their way to help me get them back. It was so great. Josh was saying how his luck has turned around and what not, and then when i lost my keys ( i figured they got locked in the car somehow, must'v fell, cause they weren't on the seat) he was like maybe it hasn't. So i pulle dhim aside and was like, i bet it has gotten better, cause i ONLY lost my keys. Just keys. imagine how much worse a problem we'd have if it was something else that went wrong cause of bad luck. He agreed. Especially after my keys were returned.
Josh and I are now official. ^_^ I decided i could afford to be a bit rash. the big problem was with time, and B&N helped enough so i am comfortable with this. Now i just have to get over my nervousness about relationships. I'm committed now @_@ heh :P He's worth it. Still scared tho @_@
