Is there anyone willing to teach somebody how to hunt? Surviving on canned food scavenged from god-knows-where and dividing it between three, including a growing boy has proved to be quite the puzzle. Perhaps a group of people....

[Luke was feeling a lot better. Which meant he heard Clive on the communicator, and immediately made his way into the room, frowning. Because gentleman help, even if he wouldn't be too much help.]

How can I help? I shouldn't just be here and not help you find food...

[He hesitates. Part of him wanted to get back to Dissimulo, because that was where the Professor was, as well as Meryl and his cat, Claire. But on the other hand, he wasn't particularly fond of leaving Flora here with a psychopath Clive.]

But I was here for a long time and I didn't help you with anything...I should do something to help as a thank you first.

It's fine, you don't have to. It was, in some respects, a part of our agreement. I hope you plan to keep that. ((Expecting glare. Yes. Yes he has Flora in his control.))

Nevertheless, Luke, you can't stay here. I agreed to caring for you, but I can't keep another person in this apartment. There just isn't enough room.

There really isn't. You've been using my room this whole time. Flora, being a lady, gets her own room by default. Takato and Guilmon have been sharing a room.

I couldn't tell you, but I didn't want to take the risk. I won't argue about it, if you're not happy with my decision, that's perfectly fine with me. Again, I don't need you to trust me.

Yes you do. Because I only promised not to tell Flora if you promised to be nice to her!

[Please learn to argue better, Luke. Because that is probably the most thinly veiled threat ever and really, it's not much of a threat anyway. But Luke is only rational in arguments give or take 70 percent of the time, and some things rapidly degenerate into irrationality. This happens to be one of them.]

I wouldn't shout too loud if I were you, Flora is in the apartment. Besides, I thought gentlemen held up their part of the bargain without causing trouble. I haven't even harmed a hair on her head, you really have no place to be making threats. Gracious, I don't believe I've put so much as a hand on her since her arrival in Discedo.

If you're stalling in order to stay here longer, it's not working.
