Cat herding... this reminds me of our little fostering adventure for the Winnipeg Humane Society. We looked after a mom-cat with her 5 kittens. Kept them all upstairs on the third floor. Everytime we'd open the door to go up there to feed them and look after them, all the kittens would try to spill out into our second floor hallway. We'd try our hardest to contain the sudden flood of kittens! :) That was one unforgettable cat-herding experience.
That was one of the kittens. We named her "Nellie". Her favourite pastime was settling on my shoulder and just staying there. So cute!
Your little catsys are just so full of attitude. What a great, creepy little design that doll is.
Oooof, yes. I used to be a vet tech + on my way to vet school (then I got sick x__x), so I spent a lot of time herding cats. XD And kittens are the worst, because they're so tiny & fast & squirmy, & they run in every direction...like trying to catch dandilion puffs. I adore them. <3
Awww, Nellie is a cutie! She's got that hardheaded "I'm comfy & I'm not going anywhere" look. Typical cat attitude...they start early. -__-
Your little shoulder-sitter reminds me of a guy I met when I was in England, who was running the B&B I was staying in...he had this enormous longhaired marmalade cat, & it was apparently given to him by a friend in the States, & it spent most of its time draped over his shoulder like a large, very lazy ginger stole. So when asked about the breed, he referred to it as an American Hanging Cat. XD
The Catsies amuse me to no end...they look especially wonderfully-creepy sitting on Mirjam's lap. She's my gothloli Boding Boding Alice...whack the "catsytwins" tag to pull up some posts of them hanging out...creepily. ;)
Oh yes... the shoulder cat. That would be my Mauricee the Pooh! He loves my shoulder, and doesn't take no for an answer either. He just jumps on and hangs there, rubbing his head on my face and purring me into submission.
