can you whine happily?
OMG, I am so sick. But I just got back from the doctor & am full of injected substances, so hopefully it won't devolve into one of those endless pneumonia sagas. Still, though--ow.
At the same time, it's so odd to have a disease that's acute & bound to actually go away with a little time & medication...it's almost like a vacation! :D A vacation with a lot of eardrum-blistering, & revolting coughing, & the feeling that my head's going to pop off. And total lack of voice. And fevers, can't forget those.
But still. In some perverse way, it's cheering me up--just by dint of being non-chronic. XD
On top of that, the contractor dudes have finished the weatherboarding on my garage, are mostly done rebuilding my back deck, & have made some progress on painting the bottom half of the house from this rather dreary hunter green (gag) to a nice deep gray with a hint of violet to it (to keep it from looking like Bondo -__-). It will look awesome once I get some perennials growing against it. I so love grey. (Yeah, quelle surprise.)
I still have nice dual-Softly-She-Walks pictures to post...one day...when my lungs quit trying to jump ship every time I cough. Maybe I'll spend some nice quiet time with PhotoShop!
On the doll front, I just got the most perfect black bob (sans fringe) in the mail on Friday. August-chan is the spitting image of Count D from Petshop of Horrors! ♥
